Armwrestler Food: Chocolate Protein Pancakes
This is a great way to turn a delicious treat into something nutritional and packed with protein, and they’re also pretty fun to make. Blend all ingredients together and add as much milk until you get the desired consistency (you want them to be a bit gluggy, like pancake mix), then fry them up in a hot pan. May take some trial and error, but by George they taste good.
CHOCOLATE PROTEIN PANCAKES
- Prep time: 5mins
- You will need a blender
- Easy to make
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of Bulk Nutrients chocolate protein powder
- 1 very ripe banana
- 1/4 cup of LSA mix
- 1/4 cup of oats
- Sufficient milk until mixture is desired consistency
- Maple syrup
Add all ingredients to the blender. Mix and add milk as needed for desired consistency.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Brush pan with margarine. Using approximately 1/4 cup mixture per pancake, cook 2 pancakes for 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface. Turn and cook for 3 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining mixture, brushing pan with butter between batches. Serve.
