Sarah Backman 2015 Australian Tour
IMPORTANT UPDATE: It has recently been brought to our attention that due to a visa problems Sarah will not be able to make her trip to the Arnold Classic and fulfil her seminars in Australia. Sarah has personally expressed her deepest regrets and remains confident that she can visit Australia in the near future. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

It does not care about the labels by which we define ourselves or the stereotypes by which we are defined by others. The table only cares about one thing – domination. Who is on the right end of that dominance, she cares not. From vegans to milkmen, the Australian Armwrestling Federation is a showcase of characters and individuals that defy the norm and break expectations. It is one of the many features that make the sport of arm wrestling such a beautiful and pluralistic platform to engage in one of the most primal acts of one on one competition.

Bench: 102kg/ 225lb
Squat: 142kg/ 315lb
Deadlift: 160kg/ 355lb
Gents, if you’re courageous enough to face off against this young woman on the table, do yourself a favour and make sure your egos are in check, because it’s very likely she will be sending you away with your tails between your legs, forcing you to rethink everything you know about strength and the many forms it can come in."You don’t have to look like a man or behave like a man just because you’re strong.” – Sarah Backman
Australian Schedule
Over the course of her 10 day visit, Sarah will be making a number of appearances, including the Arnold’s classic in Melbourne on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of March. You will find her stationed at the AAF booth, but she will also be making a guest appearance at the Bulk Nutrients stand where she is set to duke it out in a “battle of the sexes” challenge. Proving to us once and for all that size (and sex) doesn’t matter.
